Sainsbury Centre Gift Membership doesn't just give your friends or loved ones entry to 'the UK's most radical museum' (The Guardian) and access to a whole host of benefits such as discounts in our gallery and online shop, and at the Terrace Café. You're purchase also helps to safeguard a unique cultural resource where people encounter new ideas, different perspectives and extraordinary works of art, as well as helping us to care for our collections, present world-class exhibitions, acquire new artworks, and to keep art accessible for all.
When buying gift membership:
- Choose a date for your gift to be sent. We'll send the receiver an email which details the level of membership that has been gifted and how to redeem their gift membership online.
- Why not include a short message to the gift receiver and we'll include this in the email sent to them with their gift details. We'll also let them know who the gift is from, whether you include a message or not.
Gift membership comes with:
- Fuss free entry to all our exhibitions, no need to book in advance.
- 10% off in the Sainsbury Centre gallery shop and online shop.
- 10% off your bill in the Terrace Café.
- Regular newsletters about our exhibitions and behind the scenes.
- Priority booking for Sainsbury Centre events.
- Invitations to exclusive events and exhibition openings.
- Free parking.
FAQs
Sainsbury Centre Members do not need to book in advance - simply bring your card on the day and report to reception on arrival. Universal Tickets for family members, friends or guests accompanying you, who are not covered by you membership package, can also be arranged on arrival.
Just register your car at reception on your first visit to benefit from year-round parking. You'll only need to register your car once, with parking validated for the length of your membership.
Yes, exclusions apply to some products in our shop such as our Exhibition Catalogues, product bundles and special offers. Valid Membership discounts are applied automatically to purchases within our online shop once you have logged in. Discounts are not available on Universal Tickets, Event Tickets or Membership products.
You'll automatically receive email reminders towards the end of your membership, inviting you to renew online. Once renewed, your account and membership details will be updated on our system and also in your account. Your membership details and expiry date can be found in your online shop account, which also details when you can start to renew your membership.
Once membership has renewed, don't forget to re-register your car to benefit from free parking during your new membership period.
